Metallurgy for Non Metallurgists (2 days)

This two day course is designed to give attendees a basic understanding of metallurgy, and to appreciate the issues involved in the production of metals and alloys. The emphasis is on ferrous metallurgy. not addressed in the talks. This course is aimed at Personnel involved in the production, processing, fabricating, utilising and selling of metals, although the emphasis will be on steel. They may be new or experienced personnel from technical or non-technical backgrounds, and from a variety of business functions.
